What are Paper Rucksacks made from and are they environmentally friendly?
Paper rucksacks are made from recycled and recyclable paper.  They are also biodegradable, so are very environmentally friendly.

How long does it take for a paper rucksack to biodegrade?
Paper rucksacks biodegrade in between two and five months, depending on the environmental conditions and paper type.  It is even more environmentally friendly, however, to recycle them wherever possible.

Didn’t Paper Rucksacks used to be called ‘Piggy Pacs’?
Yes, but we’ve found it easier to drop this name and just call them paper rucksacks.

Paper rucksacks are designed to carry light loads.  How about using them on school trips, picnics, days out to theme parks, national parks, the beach, sight-seeing and so on?   What about taking your bottles, cans and newspapers in them to be recycled?  You could also take them to football, rugby or whatever sport you play to put your dirty kit in when you have finished.

Quite a lot actually.  Paper Rucksacks are designed for Picnics and light loads.  You can easily carry 2kg (about 4lbs), which is plenty for three cans of drink and a hefty lunch.

What is the difference between an Adult bag and a Child bag?
An adult bag has longer straps and would suit ages about 13 upwards.  Child-size bags have short straps and suit children between 3 and 13.  The ‘bag’ part of the rucksack is the same size for adults and children.
